About us
It all began in 2017 with a simple idea by three people who wanted to form a more sociable, affordable and inclusive archery club that puts it's members first. Fuelled by a deep passion, they bought together more people and formed Kilmarnock Archers on a sunny day in the Co-Ordinators back garden. Initially we had great success with over 70 people turning up on our first night at James Hamilton Academy. Unfortunately, the academy was demolished 6 months into our life. We were decanted to Mount Carmel Primary school for quite a long time afterwards. Post COVID we have been operating mainly at the Ayrshire Assault Course just outside Galston on the A71.
Our core objectives are these:
Inclusive for ALL
Only £2 per session for Adults
Only £1 for under 16's
Once you are a member, you automatically a committee member. Therefore, everyone has a vote and a say.
Low annual membership fee (currently £1)
Supply all equipment to those that need it.
